Senior Race at 12:15  - 6 miles / 1093 feet ascent -for runners age 16 and over on the day - see extended route for 2016  COURSE MAP

Please note that the 175 limit is likely to be reached before race day so pre-enter to guarantee a place  - £7 including handling charge

Closing date 17th November - collect number on race day - registration closes at 11:50 am

If there are any spare places available on the day they will be allocated on a first come first served basis

We're hoping for a sunny Autumn day but who knows what the weather will be like in late November! So be prepared to carry waterproof whole body cover ,hat,gloves,map of the route,compass,whistle and emergency food if instructed to do so by the organiser

Also Junior races of various distances from 11:15 am - in age groups between 6 to under 16 on the day -entry £1 on the day only - bring a waterproof top ,leggings ,warm hat and gloves

Senior prizes for first 3 men and first 3 women at the finish line and possibly some spot prizes - separate junior prize giving  - money from refreshments stall  and part of race fee goes to Motor Nuerone Disease and Fix the Fells


2016 race news

Holgates are happy for us to use the Hollins Farm venue again to stage this year's races on Sunday 20th November 2016  and the event is registered and insured by the FRA and now appears in the race calendar

The senior race route is extended for 2016 to include a loop through Red Hills on the north side of the Knott.

Senior online entries open later in the summer so please refer back to the race website or FRA/UKResults online listings from around August. Junior entries are on race day only.
